  the watchtower bible & tract society is moving its headquarters out of brooklyn heights and up to warwick, n.y.. we have submitted a proposal to the town of warwick to build a complex there that were calling the world headquarters of jehovahs witnesses, richard devine told the eagle tuesday.

  just been reading the resurrected topic "remember when assemblies were fun".. bought back some good memories particularly regarding the 'holiday camps'.. i was going to add this but decided it warranted it's own topic.. the 'good times' have been replaced by incessant rules.

  first i want to say i am not disclosing any details at this time, but i think i have good news for those wondering when the truth and blind will awake.

  most of us know what happens when talking to family, friends, anyone whos a jw, it's an instant mental block.

  Feeling Unfit, Fat and Unhealthy

  a semi-serious request.. i hate exercise (yes i am an indolent slob), i sit in an office or a car most of the time and eat and drink too much.

  so my new year's resolution is to lose weight (about 3 stone would be good) to try and prolong my life a little since i ain't got eternity in mind anymore.

  i am looking for fun ways to get fit, or an effective home based diet programme that has worked for other people.

  Find out where your local Ceroc (jive type dance) class is held and take the wifey - you'll learn a new skill and have loads of fun in the process - when I used to go twice a week in the UK I had no problem with extra pounds - unfortunately here in the US there aren't any classes and the alcohol and good food has taken it's toll on both Paul and I . . .

  I'm a qualified Aromatherapist and although not currently practicing, I am still very much a great believer in its benefits and still often use the oils.

  Not Long for Jookbeard Jnr , he's late!

  well he was due on the 16th, had a 41 week check today, the head is in the right position every thing's ok, but he's late, inducement is booked for the thursday 28th, i'm on the edge of my nerves as you can imagine!.

  Hey matey - don't sweat it - Bertie was a week and a half late - I'm a firm believer in waiting for the baby - he'll pop out when he's good 'n' ready! Hope all goes well for you all. x

  Thanks for sharing this with us Jimmy. Sounds like your friend is a strong one with her head together.

  I'm glad you helped her see that all ex-JWs aren't busy wallowing in sorrow and bitterness and are moving on nicely (albeit spending a little more time on here than is maybe ideal . . .)
